Angola became once again champions of Africa in basketball, last saturday August 15 2009, winning the Ivory Coast team by 82-72. The game was really tough the Ivory Coast beat the first quarter by 4 points (19-15), the second quarter ended with the Ivory Coast leading by one point more than the Angola team. On the third quarter Angola inverted the results by taking over the game, Angola showed more experience in the court and 58-54 marked the end of the third quarter. At last Angola dominated the last quarter by rotating the players on the bench. Joaquim Gomes Kikas and Carlos Morais key players and eager to compete leaded the Angola team to champions of Africa in this contest held in Libya from August 5 to 15 2009.
